blood donation drive..

i did something new today..

something out of the ordinary routine..lolz

mini and i were assigned to assist the labs staffs to organize the blood donation drive at taman jaya..

it was a family day organized by IEM..

basically we tagged along with the staffs and help out here and there..

when the drive started..we were told to take BP, take history from donors and take care of them after they donate blood..

but we were too busy with the taking BP and history..

and directing people to another booth for health screening..

they mistaken our booth for health screening as we have BP sets, swabs, alcohol wipes, sharp bins and etc..

yea..our booth looks more complete for health screening..

and we looked more like a nurse compared to other nurses at the other booth..

we were in uniform..=.=" they were in scrubs..sigh..

mini and i thought how good if we were in ICU scrubs too..ahaks...

outcome of the day 

- 16 units of blood collected from the donors..

to all 16 donors, thank you very much..you save lives...

to the 2 generous guys and a young lady who cannot donate though they wanted as their Hb is low..

you can try it again next time..=)

mini and i had fun there too..

somehow because we never assist in such drive before..

whole new experience..

and we helped a small girl who injured her left big toe..nail cracked..

we got souvenirs from mr clown too..

balloons..3 petal flowers for me and a doggie for mini..
