blood donation drive..

i did something new today..

something out of the ordinary routine..lolz

mini and i were assigned to assist the labs staffs to organize the blood donation drive at taman jaya..

it was a family day organized by IEM..

basically we tagged along with the staffs and help out here and there..

when the drive started..we were told to take BP, take history from donors and take care of them after they donate blood..

but we were too busy with the taking BP and history..

and directing people to another booth for health screening..

they mistaken our booth for health screening as we have BP sets, swabs, alcohol wipes, sharp bins and etc..

yea..our booth looks more complete for health screening..

and we looked more like a nurse compared to other nurses at the other booth..

we were in uniform..=.=" they were in scrubs..sigh..

mini and i thought how good if we were in ICU scrubs too..ahaks...

outcome of the day 

- 16 units of blood collected from the donors..

to all 16 donors, thank you very much..you save lives...

to the 2 generous guys and a young lady who cannot donate though they wanted as their Hb is low..

you can try it again next time..=)

mini and i had fun there too..

somehow because we never assist in such drive before..

whole new experience..

and we helped a small girl who injured her left big toe..nail cracked..

we got souvenirs from mr clown too..

balloons..3 petal flowers for me and a doggie for mini..

i would not say that i regret for all that i have done..

in fact i am thankful for everything that happened..

good or bad..

i learn it. i experienced it myself.

it is part of learning.

anyway..i feel left out..

there are so many events in ipoh this weekend..

and i don't even get to attend one of it..

i am working now..

no longer a kiddo..

if i am not mistaken it involve all types of martial arts..

and of cause i am interested in taekwondo..

i was one of them in the team..

and now i can only see...nope..not even see..

sobs..

2. Bon Odori Ipoh...

yea..it is also held in ipoh this year..

shah alam and penang bon odori is over and last stop is in ipoh..

i miss all..

what a waste..
when i was in ipoh for holiday, bon odori at shah alam..

when i am at pj..bon odori at ipoh..

sobs

if only i'm in ipoh..

i can bring my parents over if they want..

i can go with my ji mui-s..small ling is back at home this weekend..

i can go with a lot of ipoh friends..

oh by the way..i learned something new..via facebook..ahaks..

a friend of mine posted it..

it is a way to find out whether your laptop is a "male or female"

if the reader's voice is male voice then your laptop is male..and vice versa..

i feel its just the preset voice in the system..

try it if you are curious..

Step 1: Open "Notepad" 

Step 2: Key in CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice").Speak"I love YOU"

Step3: Save as "i love you.vbs"

then click on the file, 

u will hear a voice saying "I LOVE YOU". 

Through the voice u will know whether your computer is a boy or girl.

* if you want the voice to say other sentences you can just change the words within the quotation mark..

Eg - CreateObject("SAPI.SpVoice").Speak"I want you to be mine forever" 

it is useful if you want to send voice file to your friends/special someone..^^

most important is you save it as vbs file..

ps - my circadian cycle gone haywire..lolz..it happens whenever i am working noon..my fault..XD

ps 2 : i put on weight..like finally..but at times i feel i need to diet..lolz

ps 4 : i am wearing scrubs suit at work..

and my colleague said i looked like mak cik jual nasi lemak with that cap on..*swt*

today is the day.

the day we have been waiting for 3 years.

some of us even had difficulty in falling asleep yesterday.

(i slept very well. too tired after working. wakakaka..XP)

at 9am, we received a phone call from kak ieza asking us to gather at general office (G.O).

at 9.15am, tutors started to gather at G.O. too.

a group picture was taken with tutors.

after that, ms goh as acting principal stood in front of 23 of us 

announcing....

GROUP 65 scored 100% passes in Nursing Board Exam!!!!

WHOA!!!

i made it. we all made it.

we did not disappoint any of our tutors.

we kept our promise in maintaining 100% passes.

and yes, we still hold on to the title of being the unique group.

YAHOO~~~~~

to add on to it, one of my group girl scored distinction (above 80) and is chosen to receive an award from the board of nursing. 

yes..my group broke another record again.

a good record.  

we have a lot of naughty records too..xp

and this is the first time i cried out of joy because i passed my exam.

lolz. influenced by my friends. 

quite a number of my friends cried.

and yea.. tears are contagious too..

i am heading home over the weekend for a break and also to celebrate with my parents.

giving myself time to accept the fact i am now a state registered nurse.

a title which comes with big responsibilities.

Woke up this morning quite depressed by the fact that I LANDED on the floor..again..

Finally got myself a proper mattress.

Anyway, at least i can sleep on it and no more ass on the floor. XD

Then, I got myself a mosquito netting too.

I have to admit that mosquitoes love me very VERY very much.

Both my upper and lower limbs are 1/4 full with 'love bites'.

I have all this in my room.

But fail to protect me.

Therefore, I have this.

Hopefully I will have a good night sleep tonight..wee~~
